The closest we came to celebrating Boxing Day was our atempt to start packing and getting ready for our departure from Areco. Yesterday was calm and quiet, we made some lunch consisting of fresh salads, palmitos(palm hearts...mmmm), prosciutto and fresh bread, burnt some pudding and visited a chocolate shop....Another sizzler of a day spent by the pool in the afternoon with the girls , more terere and suntanning. We had been invited to go horseriding by ´the light of the moon´but after that got suspended we found pasta portions to feed Africa , familiarized the Bean with Areco ice cream and headed home cool , calm and overfull. With a few new addditions of bugbites and trembles from certain sightings we went to sleep.
