So weird meal for dinner on the bus with a kooky sweet salty sponge roll and a chicken leg with weird egg ham stuff and another round of sugary cookies we indulged in a glass of bubbly. Ahhh why do buses not serve bubbly in NZ!!?? After a pretty average sleep due to clamminess we arrived in BA at 830am and headed immediately to Riki´s for a nice refreshing shower, and dropped off some laundry. Not very exciting, but the day is young! To be continued...So then we jumped on a bus and headed out to Palermo, where se saw the movie, La vida secreta de las palabras (secret life of words)..and managed to down a MASSIVE bucket of caramel popcorn between us. Then we did a bit of shopping and made Beanie`s first excursion on the metro. We then walked t Riki`s friends who read our tarot cards and made some enlightening discoveries. We then boosted back to Rikis to get changed and head out for Pato (duck) at a chinese restaurant with Oli, Rory and his newly arrived parents. After a meal of dumplings, spicy chicken and green tea (yes- for once we didn`t drink..) Riki and I indulged yet again at Persicco - where we enjoyed Tarta de Limon, Limon, Dulce de leche icecream. By this time we were buggered and walked partway home before being caught in a electrical storm so we scampered for the bus.
